54: What in the world am I supposed to be for Halloween?

It’s finally October and it’s finally not 80 degrees. I was on a writing strike until the weather changed. That isn’t true, of course. I was just super busy for all of September. I wrote at least eight stories for Dayton Daily News and dayton.com. I was talking to everyone!

It’s now October and I am deep into figuring out what I should be for Halloween. I could do a couple costume with a friend, or I could get something new. I still have my Wonder Woman and Little Red Riding Hood costumes, but I’ve worn both of those many, many times.

I was looking up ironic costumes or costumes that are puns. There are some good ones out there, but they are really simple. I have always wanted to be Daria or Tina from Bob’s Burgers. However, I am currently blond with short hair, so I’d have to get a wig. If you have any thoughts on what I should be, please let me know. I am struggling over here.

I will post a show update blog next week. My winery show will be back in November, so I am super excited about that. The Brandeberry Winery has been amazing, and I am happy to bring them the comedy. I have a couple other shows as well.

>>>>BLOG: Jokes that went through my brain but never solidified

We’re getting pretty close to the holidays, and I’m hoping I can take some days off and write some new jokes. I really need to do that. I have jokes written in various places and on various things. I have notes in my phone, on post-its, old sets and reporters notebooks. I really need a secretary. Any takers?
