Jessica Graue is a comedian, blogger, journalist and professor. Check out upcoming show dates and or hilarious blogs.
Jessica Graue has been telling jokes since 2013 after many of her students and drunk aunts told her she was funny. Her passion for writing has led her to journalism, teaching writing and now the stage.
She has performed at comedy clubs, bars, barns and street corners. The road has taken her to West Virginia, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky to perform. She finally got to perform in Las Vegas in December of 2024.
From 2015-2018, she was nominated as Best Local Comedian in the Best of Dayton poll by Dayton.com. She has never taken first place. However, she will continue to be the 2nd and 3rd best in Dayton.
She wrote a popular blog called Laugh Riot Girl for Dayton.com before branching off to create her own site called Dayton Can Comedy. She promoted shows in the Dayton area and expressed her thoughts about being a female comedian.
Studying different types of performance is her current passion. She has hosted for touring comedians at Wiley’s Comedy Club and the Dayton Funny Bone, practiced improv, acted in a web series and movie, and even hosted a cosplay contest.
