40: The Moose Lodge is the perfect venue for laughs

This past weekend I performed at the Moose Lodge 2236 in Hilliard. I have performed here before and I absolutely love it! The crowd is always so inviting. The whole vibe of the place makes any anxious comedian feel at ease.

I performed with some of my favorite comedian friends, including Rob Wilfong. Rob is just a super positive guy who can always make me laugh. Also performing were Wendi Furguson, Gary Henry and Lee Mays. We all performed well.

One of the best things about performing at this Moose Lodge is that my parents get to come. I hadn’t seen my parents since Christmas since I work seven days a week. Also, I’m just bad at being social. My mom and dad got to see me perform an amazing set, and I’m so glad they did. I miss them.

Another great thing about the Moose is the time hanging out with the audience after the show. They were all congratulating us and telling us how funny we are. A couple free drinks isn’t a bad deal either. I wonder how the heck I can join a Moose Lodge.

I’m happy that I performed well since my last show was 20 minutes of me shitting the bed. But as I mentioned in my last blog, sometimes those things have to happen. I have many shows booked out through June, so please come out to see me.
