32: Happy quarantine birthday to me
It’s May 9, 2020, which means that I have now turned 39. I have one year of my 30s left, and I feel OK with that. I feel my 30s were way better than my 20s, so by that logic, my 40s should be better than my 30s.
>>>>DIARY: A quick check-in so I can keep some sanity
Here’s a few things I would love to happen in my 40s:
I get to continue teaching at Sinclair Community College and help students see how awesome journalism is.
I win $1M.
I get to watch my sister be a mom and have more babies. And I hope the other sister finds love and gets everything she deserves.
I would like to publish a book. If not publish, maybe just start a book.
I win $2M.
I finally get the pool that I have always wanted because I can afford it damn it. I have no kids.
Continue to not have kids
Win $3M.
That’s it for now. This entry was short and sweet, but you know what, that’s how I felt my 30s were. I don’t want to take up too much of your time!
