22: Why the year of the pig has been such a trying year
I have been staying away from most comedy shows and people in general since the beginning of the year. There are a couple reasons for that.
For one, I started a new job at Sinclair Community College, which I wrote about in my last diary. I really wanted to just get situated and put a lot of my energy into getting acclimated to my new position. It’s been amazing, and summer is almost here!

Secondly, I just wasn’t feeling the love from the comedy community. That’s all I have to say about that.
Another reason I haven’t been around is that I started freelancing for Dayton Daily News and Dayton.com, and I have been busy with interviews and articles. Writing is my true passion, and I love having the chance to write about the things I want to. If you have a tip, be sure to send it!

Lastly, I’ve had a few health issues that have made going out difficult. That’s all I have to say about that.
The good news is that I am feeling much better, and will be getting back on stage. Thank you to all those I have confided in.
I hope to take advantage of free time this summer and write some super funny shit!
