February shows include love, laughs and lots of wine
February is shaping up to be a good month for comedy, especially for comedy at wineries. I don’t think there are many places I like performing more than at wineries. The audiences are typically laid back and are there to laugh. However, there are some exceptions.

I have been trying to write more, but as we all know, I have eight jobs and have trouble finding time to just sit down and write. Also, when writing is part of your job, you can get burnt out. I have decided to pull out some of my old bits and try to revamp them, so if you come to a show this month, that is most likely what you will hear from me!
Wednesday, Feb. 7: I will be back at Valley Vineyards with my friends from the Midwest Comedy Tour. This would be a perfect show for a date night before Valentine’s Day. The show is free and it starts at 6:30 p.m. The winery is located at 2276 E. US Highway 22 and 3 in Morrow, Ohio. It’s quite a fun drive.
Wednesday, Feb. 14: The Dayton comedy community and Bricky’s Comedy Club will try to break the world record for longest stand-up comedy show Feb. 14 through Feb. 17. That’s 81 hours of straight comedy. I’ll be performing at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14, but I’ll be at Bricky’s over the whole 81 hours. We need an audience, so get those passes. For more information, visit Bricky’s Comedy Club’s website.
Friday, Feb. 23: I’ll be back at Brandeberry Winery with comedians Kyle Rogers, Mike Wells, Natalie Cuevas and headliner Kyle Kemper. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by calling 937-416-2019. The show starts at 7 p.m. Brandeberry Winery is located at 5118 W. Jackson Road in Enon.
