Laugh for a Cure benefit on Jan. 27
For a second year in a row, I will be performing at the Laugh for a Cure Comedy Night that promotes breast cancer awareness. The show is 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27 at BoJangles Nightclub in West Carrollton.
Fellow comedian Ranson Karr asked me to perform last year, and it went pretty well. I upset some woman with one of my poop jokes, which makes me smile. I’ll have to create a special set for this show.
>>>>UPCOMING show dates in January and February
The purpose of the show is to raise money for breast cancer research. There will be raffles with prizes. Last year, some of the prizes were giant bottles of alcohol. Remember, we are fighting breast cancer, not liver failure. One could argue that EVERY show a comedian performs at benefits liver failure, since most probably have fatty livers.
Other comedians on the show include: Keith Irvin, Ranson Karr, Nick Taylor, Brock Shank, Scotty Mays, Edward John, Dale Blomquist and Dusty Harvey.
Raise money for a good cause while laughing. And get ready for an all poop set from me.
