Last Friday, Feb. 11, I performed at Bock Family Brewing. This was my first show since December, so I was a little bit anxious. However, as usual, things went well and most people laughed at my jokes. There was one flop, but that just means I need to rework the joke a little bit.

The crowd at Bock Family Brewing.

The crowd was amazing. They were obviously there to laugh, and they were ready. I drank a couple beers for the first time in a long, long time. The beer had pineapple in it, so I figured it was sort of healthy, right? We also ordered some pretzel bites from The Drunken Waffle. The bites came with jalapeno maple sauce. Sounds weird, but it was perfection.

>>>>SHOWS: March and April shows are on the books

I was able to see some old comedy friends. I now have “old comedy friends” as I am embarking on my 9th year as a stand-up comedian. While I can’t really begin to wrap my head around that, I do need to think about my next show, which is March 12. And I’m headlining in Columbus!

The bad thing is that my parents won’t be able to see me because they apparently are not allowed after dark. Mom said it’s because they can’t drive in the dark, but I think it’s because they are afraid of vampires. You go a little mental the older you get and my parents are no exception.

Hopefully, I’ll write another blog before my next show, but I only seem to be writing once a month. I’ll just do what I can do. See you at the show!
