I haven’t been able to write in the last couple weeks because my life has become a non-stop nightmare of school, work, shows, more work and minimal exercise.

School started last week, but per usual I was ready and totally organized. This semester I teach at Wright State on Tuesday and Thursday at 8 a.m. I also teach at Sinclair on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8 a.m. Suffice to say, I wake up at 5:45 a.m. every day. It’s a delight.

I am teaching my humor comedy classes at both schools because it is efficient and also it is the best class I’ve every taught. I have past blogs on why I started teaching this way.

One class loved me from day one, while the other was a little harder to crack. They wouldn’t laugh at my jokes, which is just preposterous. However, after our recent improv class, they are a little more open-minded.

I hope my fellow teachers have a great semester. I hope students learn how to write while having fun.
