Tres Palabras Numero Uno

Tres Palabras is a word feature where someone looks up 3 intense, difficult or foreign words that Jess the English professor does not know. Jess will get only the word and what part of speech it is. From there, Jess must define the word and use it in a sentence.

What Jess believes these words mean:

Traduce (verb): When a magician waves his wand takes a dump. Sentence: After Mexican buffet David Copperfield traduced three times before making the Statue of Liberty disappear.

Ecdysiast (noun): The Greek goddess of dicing. Sentence: Every night Rachel Ray prays to Ecdysiast so she doesn’t chop off anymore of her short stubby fingers on TV.

Testate (adjective): A word that describes which ball on a man is the most dominant. Sentence: Kevin James’ left testicle is very testate since it hangs a full 5/8 inches lower than the right one.

Traduce (verb): To speak badly of or tell lies about someone. Jess’ students like to go on RateMyProfessor.com and traduce her and say she is a garbage teacher.

Ecdysiast (noun): A striptease performer. When the girls at Cheeks want to sound fancy, they call themselves ecdysiasts.

Testate (adjective): Having made a valid will before one dies. Sentence: Jess received a 1990 Buick Regal after her grandma died testate.
