Just a couple shows before the big Clash

My friend and fellow comedian Kevin Ruppert recently opened a new comedy club in Miamisburg. I wrote a story about it for dayton.com, and his first show actually sold out. You can read the article here. I will be doing a guest set at Bricky’s and in October the Clash of the Comics finals will happen.

Saturday, Sept. 17: I will be doing a guest set at Bricky’s this Saturday at 7 p.m. The show will be headlined by Jake Iannarino with Greg Winston as the feature. The club is part of Star City Brewing. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased on the club’s website.

Sunday, Oct. 23: Way back in May, I made it to the finals of the Clash of the Comics at the Dayton Funny Bone. The finals are next month, and will feature amazing local talent. I don’t expect to win, but crazier things have happened. Tickets are $5 and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. It’s best to get there early though.

I will hopefully try to get my old ass to some open mics this month. Being old makes open mics difficult to get to. But I know I need to practice. I hope to see you sometime in the next couple months.
