A lively night at the Arena on Salem Avenue

On Wednesday, Sept. 28, I traveled out to the Arena on Salem Avenue to perform at Mic Work. Charmaine Petty Blunt books this showcase twice a month. On the drive there, I was looking at all the homes and old buildings. I rarely go to the west side. The architecture was beautiful!

Sometimes I forget that there is this whole other part of Dayton. It took 25 minutes to get to the venue from my home in Kettering. The venue was fantastic. My set went well and everyone was laughing. I’m glad that I get to go places I usually wouldn’t go to because of comedy.
