Ugly art: Self portrait of vomit
The viewer’s eyes are first drawn to the crudely painted boobs that are swirled with streaks of blue and green. It’s as if the artist was trying to tell us something about her gross boobs.
If those aren’t boobs, then they are eyeballs with a pink mouth below covered in slime. Was the artist perhaps watching the classic 1990s reptilian film “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”? Was the painter listening to Vanilla Ice?
The piece is obviously a self-portrait of a lizard person or a pile of vomit because so much green is used throughout. All the swirls that surround the “person” are enough to make one barf if they were to walk by the painting too quickly.
There was hope for this painting at one point.
Through the lazy dabs, dots and streaks, a watercolor-like background can be seen. Then the artist decided to be “creative” and vomit that “creativeness” all the over the painting.
Basically, we’re are saying this painting makes us sick and someone should just set it on fire.
